Several years ago,Rachel had asked me if I wanted to come round for lunch at Brenda and Rosemary's house which i was very much looking forward to,for a long overdue catch up.

Like Rachel,she is an excellent cook and we had a wonderful day talking about our school days. When it was time to leave i called in at her bathroom and noticed that she had some creams on her shelf which I knew she would never have bought if she had known that the company had little thought for animal welfare. Diplomacy should have told me to say nothing.

On mentioning this particular company in conversation and their policies. ,she realised that I had seen the creams. Much to my embarrassment she immediately went upstairs and brought them all down and threw them in the bin! As they were all expensive it was a hard thing to do,but really showed her great love of animals to do that. Hopefully she forgave me!

I'm very pleased I got the chance to spend such a lovely day with a wonderful lady.
